Opening ceremony for NACAA, the 1st Chinese-French design institute
The École de design Nantes Atlantique has been chosen by one of China's most prestigious art and design universities, the China Academy of Art (CAA) in Hangzhou, to create the 1st Sino-French design institute: the NACAA (Nantes Atlantique CAA). The inauguration ceremony for this institute was held on 20 April 2023 in China.
The NACAA institute was inaugurated on 20 April in the presence of Christian Guellerin, Managing Director of L'École de design Nantes Atlantique and :

This Sino-French design institute has been approved by the Chinese Ministry of Education. It consolidates Hangzhou's position as a design stronghold and reflects the importance of cultural and academic exchanges between China and France.
The bachelor's degree programmes in art & technology, product design and environmental design and the master's degree in art & technology offered at the NACAA institute train top-level designers to occupy strategic positions in innovation. They are coordinated on the French side by Matthieu Rochette-Schneider, managing director for China of the centdegrés agency, and Xu Yan, coordinator of the school's relations with the CAA.
