Atelier 21, a cultural mediation association focused on energy transition issues, is currently developing an exhibition project, the Retrofuture Museum, which brings together old objects (clever, understated, and ingenious) with contemporary reinterpretations in the fields of design, art, or industry.
We are seeking recent projects—student or not—that offer a low-tech or understated approach to topics such as heating, cooling, lighting, energy storage, mobility, water, food, health, and more.
Contributions should be submitted by June 25th for potential inclusion in the exhibition (opening on July 10th).
However, as the project is evolving and traveling, later proposals will also be considered.
The objective: to build a base of projects to enrich the exhibition, which could serve as a platform for workshops and educational presentations on ancient know-how and desirable futures.
We're collaborating with Bold Design to create a simple, mobile scenography suitable for use in various venues, including educational venues.
Feel free to send your projects to: hello@paleo-energetique.org
