Students of NACAA took part in a 2-week workshop in collaboration with Sofitel
Design to reinvent the hotels of tomorrow.
🇨🇳 Students of NACAA, the 1st Chinese-French design institute created by CAA (China Academy of Art) and L'École de design Nantes Atlantique, took part in a 2-week workshop in collaboration with Sofitel.
There were accompanied by Christophe Lauras, Chief Operating Officer, Accor Greater China & President of the French Chamber of Commerce in China (CCI France Chine).
This workshop enabled students to come up with innovative and forward-looking design solutions to some major challenges for each bachelor programme:
👉🏻 For the Art & technology programme: How to create a universal language and a new alphabet for the hotel's language in the future? With Tian-You Zheng.
👉🏻For the Product Design programme: How to invent the Ai hotel assistant service? With Theophile Signard.
👉🏻For the Environmental design programme: How to build a hotel in an unknown context trough planet tomorrow challenges? With Céline BORY.
🔍 L'École de design Nantes Atlantique has been chosen by one of China's most prestigious art and design universities, the China Academy of Art (CAA) in Hangzhou, to create the 1st Sino-French design institute. It offers international bachelor's programs as well as a master's degree in design to train top-level designers for strategic positions in innovation.
