Generative artificial intelligence is profoundly transforming our interactions, our tools, and our daily lives. However, it also raises ethical, aesthetic and functional challenges which require the intervention of a key actor: the designer. This conference offers an exploration of the crucial role of designers in the design and regulation of these new technologies. How can design humanize AI, make it more accessible and ethical? What tools and methodologies can the designer use to supervise, improve, or even “save” generative AI from its own excesses?
