AI: towards a new design of public services, first issue of the Design des Possibles collection, was carried out with the support of the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations, which explores the impacts of artificial intelligence (AI) on the future of the profession of designer, in the context of public service.

This publication presents the issues surrounding artificial intelligence and public services, from the perspective of a design school and the responsibility it bears: training the designers of tomorrow to meet the challenges of the 21st century. Thus, it questions the place and role of design in a conceptual and practical approach, focused on public services.

To carry out this study, the research focused on France, with a look at generative AI, sometimes broadening the spectrum to other AI systems.
