Toyota Mobility Foundation x Tech Lab APF France Handicap x l'École de design Nantes Atlantique: Inclusive vehicle of tomorrow
Presentation of the work carried out in partnership with Toyota Mobility Foundation x Tech Lab APF France Handicap on the inclusive vehicle of tomorrow.
The way cars are used in the future will evolve in the direction of increasingly shared management. The development of this practice and the State's support for road infrastructure are encouraging the development of more intelligent approaches in terms of interfaces, service, management, spatial configuration, etc. While the driving style is set to evolve, the fundamentals of the car seem unchanged since its invention: a driver's seat, a passenger seat, two or three rear seats and a boot for shopping and luggage.
However, this standard format poses a number of problems in terms of accessibility and openness to sharing.
Students from the City Design Lab and the Digital Design Lab worked in 2 phases on a number of challenges relating to the broad theme of inclusive vehicles and services.
